The 2015 Jeffrey Ahn, Jr. Fellowship Dinner, hosted by Jeffrey and Priscilla Ahn, was held on Wednesday, May 27 at the Metropolitan Club of New York.
The dinner program featured an awards ceremony honoring this year's Jeffrey Ahn, Jr. Fellowship winner, Beckett Fine, and finalists Abeyaz Amir and Amara Hopping. The award was presented to Fine by Ian Alteveer, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Alteveer was one of eleven distinguished judges from the art world who selected this year's winner and finalists.
The evening also included remarks by JAJF Program Director Presca Ahn; JAJF Board Members Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos and Sung Han-Andersen; and Dr. Jeremy Mao of Columbia University. Charles Gariepy, a friend of the Ahn family, returned for a second time as master of ceremonies for the dinner program.
