Priscilla Ahn

Priscilla is a retired television journalist and anchorwoman. Originally from Seoul, Priscilla graduated from Ewha Women's College in 1981 with a degree in English Literature. Immediately upon graduating, she began working as a journalist and producer at the major Korean broadcast network MBC, where she would rise to become the first major female television personality in Korea. Over the course of her brief career in the 1980s, she anchored the morning news, hosted a popular television quiz show, served as master of ceremonies for numerous televised pageants, and was the official commentator at the 1984 LA Olympics. Following her marriage to Jeffrey Ahn, she moved to New York, and served as executive producer and news director at WNYE-25 and then as partner and executive director of Korean program at WNYC-31 until 1995, when she retired. Priscilla recently served as the President of the New York chapter of the Ewha Alumnae Association.
